Editorial standards and expertise

Published October 2026 · 2 min read · Nibhana Consumer Research Desk

Everything we publish on consumer health and hygiene is written to help the reader first, grounded in our work making everyday care products and reviewed for accuracy before it goes live.

Who writes this content

Our health and hygiene guidance is produced by the Nibhana Consumer Research Desk, the in house team that works alongside our product, quality and sourcing functions across feminine care, adult care, baby care, maternity care and institutional hygiene. The desk draws on the daily reality of specifying materials, running quality checks and bringing disposable hygiene products from a specification to a shelf.

This is first hand category experience. When we explain how an absorbent core works, what a material claim means, or why skin stays healthier dry than damp, we are writing from the same knowledge we use to build the products themselves.

How we research and source

We build each article on established public health and standards sources, such as the World Health Organization, the United Nations Children's Fund, the Indian Council of Medical Research, the Bureau of Indian Standards and recognised dermatology and paediatric guidance. Where a claim is practical rather than clinical, it reflects our own manufacturing and quality experience.

We do not invent statistics, we do not copy from other sources, and we do not name or compare other companies. Our aim is clear, accurate, useful guidance, not promotion.

How we review before publishing

Every piece is checked for three things before it is published. First, accuracy, so that nothing stated as fact is unsupported. Second, safety, so that health topics stay general and never replace a clinician. Third, clarity, so that a reader can act on the guidance with confidence.

Articles carry a published date and, where we revise them, an updated date, so you always know how current the guidance is.

Our accuracy and corrections policy

If we find an error, or a reader raises one, we correct it promptly and update the revision date. Guidance that depends on evolving science is reviewed and refreshed over time rather than left to age.

To report a correction, write to us at hello@nibhanaconsumer.com.

A note on health information

Our hygiene and care articles are general information to help you make everyday decisions. They are not a diagnosis and not a substitute for professional medical advice. For a personal health concern, please speak with a qualified clinician.
